Code of Ethics

The standards I hold myself to.

These texts are drafts, pending review before the site goes live.

Professional registration

I am registered with the Complementary Therapist Association and I practise in line with its code of conduct. I hold professional insurance and I keep my registration current.

Confidentiality

What you tell me stays between us. Case notes are kept securely, and your details are shared only where they are needed to send your remedy, or where the law requires me to share them. If I ever want to use an anonymised case for teaching or supervision, I will ask you first.

Consent

You decide what happens. I explain what I am suggesting and why, in plain language, so you can make your own choice, and you may pause or stop at any point without needing to justify it.

Scope of practice

I work as a homeopath and not as a doctor. I do not diagnose, and I never advise you to stop or change medication prescribed for you. I do not make claims about outcomes for named conditions, and I will not offer treatment that is outside what I am trained to do.

Honesty and uncertainty

I do not give promises. I tell you what is realistic, and I tell you when something is uncertain or unknown. If this way of working does not seem right for you, I would rather say so early.

Referral

If something you describe needs medical attention, or another practitioner would serve you better, I will say so and encourage you to go. Your safety comes before continuing with me.

Continuing development

I keep learning. I teach and supervise at the Centre for Homeopathic Education in London, I take supervision myself, and I complete continuing professional development every year.
